Hokusai and His Disciples’ Fujisawa/Enoshima

Katushika Hokusai not only surprised people with his bold ideas and methods, but was also keen to the fads of the world, incorporating them into his works. Among the works created by Hokusai are numerous prints depicting Fujisawa Station and Enoshima. His work was very diverse, from bustling depictions of famous places to experimental works implementing western techniques. This exhibit will focus on Hokusai’s depiction of Fujisawa along with the works of his disciples and admirers.
