    Did you know that some artists were permitted to assume the names of famous ukiyo-e artists such as Utagawa Hiroshige and Utagawa Toyokuni? This exhibition introduces the painting of \u201csecond-generation\u201d artists such as Hiroshige II and Toyokuni II, who took on their master\u2019s names through shumei, a practice common in the Edo Period. Their works depicting Enoshima and Fujisawa-shuku will also be introduced.\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
