    Utagawa Hiroshige painted more than 20 different series of the Fifty-three Stations of the T\u014dkaid\u014d. In addition to his masterpiece, \u201cThe Fifty-three Stations of the T\u014dkaid\u014d (H\u014deid\u014d Edition),\u201d other series are filled with creativity and originality to keep giving interest to all viewers. \u201cKy\u014dkairi T\u014dkaid\u014d\u201d presented in this exhibition is a series of ky\u014dka, a subgenre of tanka poetry that was popular in the late Edo period, written according to the characteristics of each post station along the T\u014dkaid\u014d highway.\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
