1863

The procession is marching through the street of the Daimachi of Kanagawa Post Station. In the foreground, travelers, who happened to be there in the middle of a journey, are gazing at the procession from a distance. There are several two-story teahouses at the Dai-machi’s slope, and it is said, visitors can enjoy the spectacular view from these teahouses. In this picture, a woman can be seen at a two-story of the teahouse looking into the distance through a telescope.
